Since I am a very picky eater and I can't eat meat off the bone (just grosses/weirds me out), I went with the only chicken item that I thought would not have bones in it, the Chicken Sandwich combo $6.50 with a side of fries. This was delicious, the flavor of the chicken, the meltyness of the cheese-just good all around.
I also ordered a side of Yuca $2.50 or something around there. I don't know what Yuca is suppose to taste like, but I liked this better then their fries, and dipped in the spicy sauce, yum!
The meal came with a spicy and a mild sauce. I loved the spicy sauce and the mild was ok, not sure what it was but it sort of seemed like a mustard/mayo/?? combination.
Overall I really liked the sandwich at this place. The meat was tender. My only complaint was that the fries, while golden on the outside, were still hard on the inside, but I had so much food because I ordered the Yuca that I didn't mind. I would come back here again to get a sandwich if I were in the area.
Grade: B
Had peruvian chicken before and it was amazing! Looking forward to going to this place one day and getting fresh Yucas!
ReplyDeleteI spent a month in Peru and I will say it looks like something I've seen in every restauant. It looks super delish and I am dying to try the sauces.
