Ordered a Chinese Beer, Tsing Tao. Good, light Chinese beer. I love drinking beer made in the country of the ethnicity I am eating.
Crab Rangoons. Made with fresh, not imitation crab and paired with a sweet garlicky sauce. Very good. The original rangoon before restaurants started using imitation crab and cream cheese to cut prices.
Fried Chinese Leek Dumpling. Classic, amazing dumplings. Even though they are fried, they are still light due to the combination of leeks and meat.
Lamb with Spring Onions. This use to be a favorite at our family's favorite Chinese Restaurant but then they stopped making it. Peking Gourmet Inn's version was amazing. The spring onions, lamb and overall flavor was amazing-a very fresh tasting dish.
Szechuan Beef Proper. Good, and even though it was my favorite dish last time, it's a little to sweet for me now, and everyone at the table agreed. I would prefer if it had some sort of kick to it/less sugar.
(or get the lamb with spring onions-was really impressed with it)! The quality of the food (aka the meat) is good so feel free to experiment!
