Bon Chon...or that time I waited an hour for chicken

I was catching up with Teddy last week and we decided to go to Bon Chon chicken (it will be changing it's name soon-atleast the Annandale location) in Annandale because he saw that it had good reviews. 
When we got there they asked if we had a reservation which confused me because the place was empty. We soon learned that a reservation would have been key.
We decided to order chicken and was told it would be about 30-45 minutes which we agreed to wait. While waiting we decided to order some french fries to munch on. Good fries, huge portion. 

I ordered 6 drumsticks 1/2 & 1/2. Meaning 3 were spicy sauce and the other 3 were not. 

 Teddy ordered some mixed combo (wings & drumsticks) with the non-spicy sauce. 

I really liked the sauce on the chicken, but honestly I could take or leave the chicken, definitely not worth the wait. The outside was extremely crispy and then the chicken was not as moist/flavorful that it could have been. It was just average chicken which normally would have been fine except that it took an hour to make. If you are in the mood to try Bon Chon, make sure you call ahead and put your order in or be prepared to wait for a long time.
